"Visited in January 2026 during a weekend dinner. We made a reservation in advance to avoid disappointment. We started with the smoked hummus, served with four pieces of Arabic bread, topped in the center with chili oil and chickpeas. The hummus was enjoyable and paired well with the Arabic bread. While it didn’t carry a strong smoky flavour, it was still well executed and pleasant. The short ribs were served on top of an artichoke purée, which was quite a unique touch. The ribs had a light smoky flavour, were soft in texture, and overall tasted good. For dessert, we tried the Muhallebi — a tahini pudding served with passion fruit sorbet and sesame seed brittle. This was refreshing due to the passion fruit sorbet. The generous portion of pudding paired nicely with the sorbet and crunchy brittle. It would be even better with a slightly larger sorbet portion, but this is definitely recommended. The Kunafa ice cream, served with smoked kunafa and pistachio ice cream, delivered the strongest smoky flavour among all the dishes. It was enjoyable, though the pistachio cream portion was larger than the ice cream itself. A better balance with more ice cream would improve the dish. The ambience was cosy and comfortable, and the staff were friendly. Overall, the food was quite good and worth a visit."
"Had such a wonderful dining experience at Leen’s (TTDI) — definitely deserving of its Michelin Bib Gourmand status We tried their smoked hummus, which was incredibly creamy with a deep, smoky flavour that made it stand out from any hummus I’ve had before. Highlight for me was The Samak (halibut with hummus) was fresh, perfectly charred top, and paired beautifully with the rich, silky base. Lamb bide was tender, juicy, and packed with warm Middle Eastern spices. Their baklava cheesecake was good too! Creamy! Special shoutout to Mokhthar for the exceptional service. He was attentive, friendly, and went the extra mile to make my boyfriend’s birthday celebration truly memorable. Great food, warm hospitality, and such a lovely atmosphere ,will definitely be back for more Syrian flavours"
"Very nice restaurant, great ambience and not too noisy, food was great too, but beware the portions are big (made for sharing). Some of the dishes we ordered were served slightpy cold/room temp, such as the baba ganoush salad and also the hummus, but it was still fabulous. The bread and Syrian chicken rice were also very nice."
"Delightful Syrian fare in a casual family environment. Dishes are communal- mezzes and mains are meant to be shared across the table. Smoked hummus is bomb. The smoke lingers on your palate even after you’re home from dinner. Everything we had was good. The Baba Ghanoush and lamb rack all crafted with love and flavoured with taste. Grilled Syrian chicken and rice was hearty with warm spice. Come hungry! We regretted having a prr-dinner snack :( Reservations recommended."
"The food was excellent. I loved the smoked hummus, my son enjoyed the kebab khaskhas, and my wife and daughter really liked the samak and the kunafa ice cream. Truly deserving of its Michelin status — both for the food and the service. Special thanks to Mustafa for arranging a table for us at the last minute. We’ll definitely be back to try more dishes"
"Leen’s Middle East Kitchen in TTDI stands out for its fresh, vibrant Middle Eastern dishes with a cozy vibe and friendly service. The restaurant is led by Chef Ameer Alzalek, bringing modern yet authentic Syrian flavors that diners really rave about. - succulent grilled chicken served over a creamy garlic sauce and finished with sesame seeds and leafy greens. - Smoked hummus, topped with chickpeas and chili oil, paired with puffy warm Arabic bread sprinkled with black sesame seed. - Mariah pide, a Turkish-style flatbread topped with minced lamb, pomegranate seeds, and fresh herbs. My dish that I enjoyed the sweet and tangy twist from the pomegranate and the savory lamb, bold and satisfying. - Kebab Khashkhash: lamb meatballs simmered in a spicy tomato sauce and baked with a bread cap. It brings hearty, comforting flavors and a dramatic presentation that impresses many diners."
"We had a nice dinner here and our favourites were the smoked hummus, the lamb rack and the grilled pineapple virgin mojito drinks. The other dishes, baba ghanoush salad(cold), crispy syrian rice(tastes like a rich nasi briyani) and rubiyan were good too. Definitely recommended to dine here for bursts of flavours."
"One of best Middle Eastern restaurants. Wow the smoked hummus woody and nuanced smoked flavor. My first bite starts with that familiar creamy, slightly nutty taste of chickpeas. Baba Ghanoush salad with mashed eggplant taste delicious white chopped fresh parsley and a little crunchy sweet pomegranate. Samak the halibut is nicely done with lemon zest. Very filling not able to try their desert. Will definitely go back and try other dishes. Price is reasonable too"
